Leanne Whitehouse
Leanne got Judd when he was about 18 months old. She was his fifth home after the dogs home and two other owners who found him uncontrollable.
She started dog training with him and got on so well we were asked to become part of the team. Since then he’s become a great character, his good nature has earned him the title of ‘demo dog’ between us, he’s great for socialising the dogs that come to us with behavioural problems. As he has no history, he is not kennel club registered. However, he still likes to take part in local shows, he has also made a good gun dog for shoots.
Jud has many party tricks that he likes to show off. People get sent over to Leanne if they want to learn a few ‘pub tricks’ or tricks to impress your grandma!
Anne Henwood
Anne has a Border Collie bitch called Skye. She is now 4 years old, and a very adorable animal with her markings.
Although she started off very wary of men and barking at people and dogs she does not now. Anne has spent a lot of time in correcting these
problems, and has an extremely obedient dog, that is very loving and caring, and lives up to a collies reputation of intelligance and loyalty. Anne has taken Skye into various companion dog shows, where she has performed well in obedience, and has currently started working on agility training, reflecting on Anne's work and effort into her faithful companion, which she is keen to pass onto others.
Janet Palmer
Janet has had dogs for a number of years. She is currently owned by two German Shepherds. Janet has a number of canine interests, these being obedience training, exhibiting and also doing PAT work with Jake (pictured right). She has qualified her German Shepherd Bitch, Tikka, for Crufts 2008, and has also handled other dogs to their qualification aswell.
Karen Courtney
Karen has had German Shepherd Dogs for almost 20 years and has a wealth of knowledge surrounding the breed. . She has had training in obedience, socialisation, ringcraft, agility and flyball, and like the other Instructors has taken obedience classes at other training clubs.
Karen was granted her affix in 2002 and has since bred selectively. But her main interest is in showing, and she is now enjoying success in the show ring with her own breeding. Her dogs are consistently placed at open and championship shows having qualified for crufts 2005, 2007 & 2008.
